The Veterans Services Office provides information and assistance in connection with benefits and services earned by military service and available to veterans and their dependents.
Services available to eligible veterans and in some instances their dependents include:
- Transportation to the Palo Alto VA Medical Center
- Assistance to survivors of veterans
- California College Fee Waiver awards
- Client advocacy
- Filing of claims for benefits
- Representation in the claims process and certain appeals
- Information, training and assistance to organizations helping veterans
- Liaison with:
- VA Health Services
- VA Veterans Centers
- Department of Veterans Affairs
- Veterans Services Organizations
- Employment Development Department
- County and community based organizations
